Spotlight on Portfolio: Advanced Photoshop Competition 073

Advanced Photoshop Competition 073A piece I did for Advanced Photoshop magazine competition for July. The goal of these competitions is to take 3 pictures, and utilizing at least one of them, create some type of image from them. I only utilized one of the three images they provided for this competition, the rest I created on my own. These competitions I find to be rather challenging because of the selection of the images you get, although I will say the competition for August has a better selection! If you want to check out the competition at Advanced Photoshop Magazine, here's a link to their site. Unfortunately I did not when, but there's always next time!

Great set of Icons for the Web…

Web Design Ledger has listed 20 free icon sets that will be sure to compliment any well designed web site. I recommend taking a look at these, as they are unique in design and aren't your average Web 2.0-ish type of designs. I may even use some myself...

Intellectual Property on the Web: Free for All, or Free for None?

As many of you may have noticed, my blog contains reposts of articles I find during my day on the web from select sites I frequent. My goal is to share the same content I read with those who share common interests. Every post that I make that does comes from a third party always begins with a link back to the source. I don't in any way try to take credit for someone else's work. However, it has been brought to my attention that some may see this as an issue. Here are some of the complaints I have seen (not on my blog personally, just in general):

Spotlight On My Portfolio: Just Your Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman

I have been trying to find a way to convince my 7 year old nephew that I am Spiderman. I did this in an attempt to see if I could trick him. I wonder if it will work?
