Snap-on Equipment’s John Bean Brochure Redesign

When I began working at Snap-on Equipment, one of the first projects I proposed was redesigning our brochures and coming up with a style sheet to work by. Near the end of last year, I got my opportunity to make this happen, starting with the John Bean brochures.

Below is an example of John Bean's old brochure and the new version which I designed.

John Bean 2-Post Brochure Cover Comparison. On the left is the old brochure design. On the right is the new version I created. I believe the new version improves on the old by bringing more attention to the product and giving the cover a flow. The old version was too boxy, this added some curves and a flow that directs the readers eye.
